STARTED PULLET (GROW-OUTS) SCHEDULE AND RESERVATIONS
Pre-Season Order Options for 2025
Get in the Queue now. We will have very limited pullets for the growing-out season
Pre-Season Orders are Now Open: Go to "STARTED PULLETS" page to see the breeds we have to offer.
***We summarize each breed individually and all the extra ordering information needed by clicking on the BREED NAME under the individual photos of the bird.

There are two options on the page:

Option #1 Juveniles $25 each (4 weeks old, sexed and off heat, depending on time of year they are purchased, which means there is a possibility they could still require some supplemental heat)
Option #2 Pullets $35 each (6-8 weeks old).
Please let us know in the "ADD A NOTE" on the CHECK OUT page after you've placed your order which option you are wanting and approximately what month you would be ready for the Juveniles or Pullets.

​We require a $10 deposit per pullet to pre-order before you are added to the list to guarantee your order.
Also let us know what breeds you would accept as substitutes, if necessary.
The first flock of 6-8 week old Pullets should be ready to go to their new home by End of March/Early April.

Placing an Order after April 2025
1. Pick Your Date: Take a look at the schedule (at bottom of page) for the dates that we will have available for started pullets, at what age (4 or 6-8 weeks) and which breeds.
2. How to Order: Go to "STARTED PULLETS" page.
On that page are the breeds we offer. There is a "PREORDER" option and the number of pullets you wish to reserve. Depending on what breeds and how many are available in that particular group that you can choose.( We can't accommodate large orders due to the small scale size of the ranch, so we have a limit of 6 pullets per breed per order).

3. Make your Appointment: When on the "CHECK OUT" page, "IN THE NOTES" section after you've placed your order, you can leave us a message as to what AVAILABLE PULLET DATE listed works for you and we can also schedule which day is the best for you to PICK UP the pullets.

When I get your request, I will put you on the list for that date. If your spot is near the end of that list and for any reason I can't fill your order for that particular date, you will go to the front of the line for the next grow-outs. (Unless there was a cancellation of an order from that date in which I would contact you)

PLEASE NOTE: We are a small family farm operation, we have limited space for the growing out of our pullets and to take special care as not to over-crowd as they grow. We will have 3-4 different dates available for groups of started pullets in the 2025 season but in very limited numbers.

With the amount of Pullet pre-orders coming in, the next Pullet availability date will be approximately End of June. As our hens start coming back into lay we will have more definite dates posted here.
Laying Hens
Very rarely do we have laying hens available. If we do, it is because we are changing out our breeding stock and they would be over a year old.
If we happen to have some available it would be in late summer.
We will post below any hens we have available below.
We will not be making a waiting list for hens.
