These pullets are already several weeks old, so you can skip the brooding phase and enjoy the benefits of a laying hen sooner. The Copper Marans are known for their beautiful dark, rich brown eggs and are a favorite among egg enthusiasts. On average, the Copper Marans hen will give you around 3 eggs per week, which works out to about 150-200 eggs per year. This may not be as high as some other breeds, but their quality make up for it and their eggs are absolutely gorgeous. With their beautiful splash feathering, these pullets also add a touch of elegance to any flock.
