2025 Hatch Dates/Schedule
As chick season gets going, so do the waitlists for specific breeds. We have two ways to help you get the chicks you want: The Reservation System and The Notification System.

**We summarize each breed individually and all the extra ordering information needed by clicking on the BREED NAME under the individual pictures of the bird.
HATCH SCHEDULE AND RESERVATIONS
Option 1: The Reservation System-
Pre-Season Order Option for 2025
Pre-Season Orders are Now Open: Go to PRE-ORDER page to order the breed of chicks you are wanting and the quantity for each breed.
We require a $5 deposit per chick to pre-order before you are put on the list to guarantee your order.
First 2025 Hatch Date for Day Old Chicks should be approximately February, then regular monthly hatches after that.
Please let us know in the "ADD A NOTE" section on the CHECKOUT page what month you would be ready for the chicks.

1.Pick Your Date: Take a look at the hatch schedule or hatch schedule (at bottom of page) for the hatch dates and see when the breeds you want will be hatching.
2. How to Order: Go to "Day Old Chicks" page.
On that page are the breeds we offer. Choose the desired breed you are interested in.
3.Make your Appointment: When on the "CHECKOUT" page, on the "ADD A NOTE" section you can leave us a message with the "Hatch Date" you are wanting.
Also let me know what breeds you would accept as substitutes.
Set the appointment for pick up day and time, no sooner than two days after hatch and no later than a week after hatch day.
The chicks need time to rest up in between adventures.
When I get your request, I will put you on the list for that hatch date. If your spot is near the end of that list, and we don't have as robust of a hatch that we were looking for, you will go to the front of the line for the next hatch.
Option 2: The Notification List System-
This is the less reliable system.
1. Go to the "Day Old Chicks" and select the breed you want, if we don't have any available in the website inventory when you visit, you will have option to sign up to be notified by e-mail when we add chicks to the website inventory. (The sign-up notification is not available when the chicks/pullets pre-order button is enabled. The pre-order button will be disabled after pre-season orders are filled).
2. When the breed you want hatches, we fill all the orders from the Reservation System first and then we add the chicks that are left to the website inventory. You and everyone on the Notification List, will be notified and the first one to purchase the chicks off the website gets the chicks.
